Background: The regional anaesthesia has lot of benefits compared to general for lower abdominaland limb surgeries. Epidural is an ideal anesthetic technique abdominal and lowerlimb additives are used with Anesthetics Early onset action, To prolong the duration ofaction, Analgesia Improving quality block.Aims Objectives: aim this study was clinical efficacy Dexmedetomidine versus Fentanylas additive Ropivacaine lumbar epidural post-operative analgesia.Materials Methods: This a prospective randomised controlled involving 90 patientsundergoing infraumbilical surgeries who will be divided randomly into three groups Group R(n = 30): received 18 ml 0.5% ropivacaine 10 0.2% boluses forpostoperative analgesia; RF (n 25μg fentanyl epiduralanaesthesia μg postoperative RD(n 25 dexmedetomidine of0.2% 5 analgesia.Results: Addition have enhanced analgesia. Quality andduration provided by more effective than fentanyl.Better analgesia evidenced Fentanyl.Conclusion: It can concluded that RD (Ropivacaine Dexmedetomidine) when given epidurally asafe combination blockade in
